Education:

The Art institute of Houston, Associates of Applied Science Degree in Animation Art and Design

Synopsis:

Skills include modeling, texturing, concept art, storyboard work, animation, video editing including effects and compositing.

Most proficient in 3ds Max, Photoshop, ZBrush, After Effects, and Premiere.

Familiar with Maya, Mudbox, Terragen, Vue, Sound Forge, Flash, and Illustrator.

Experience:

Lasershot - 3D Artist, April 2007 to present. Part of a team responsible for creating video games and training simulations designed to help train military and law enforcement agencys. Responsibilities include modeling and texturing 3D assets, including enviroments, props, weapons, characters and effects. Workflow involves 3ds Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, Xnormal, and CrazyBump.

Project leader for the ADOPTation 2000 project ( www.adopt2000houston.org/ ) - Led a group of students in the making of a short, 2D Flash PSA. Responsibilities included storyboarding and timing out animations, overseeing the 2d artwork, importing, coloring and timing the hand drawn animations in Flash, background work and final export.

Team member for The Teddy Project for the National Wildlife Refuge - Worked with a group of students in making two 30 second PSA's. Responsibilities included character design, drawing and coloring individual cels, and importing, timing and exporting from After Effects.

Over 3 years experience doing various freelance work including work for Hallmark, The Metallica Club, Metal Edge and various music groups, both local and national.
